My first beer from Slovenia

Hostel is very interesting, a converted jail. City tour tomorrow to figure out where I am exactly (city is called Ljubljana).

My train in Slovenia

Gone is the punctuality of Germany. Slovenia is quite beautiful though, everything is green. Mountains covered in forests, farms, well kept houses. A lovely country indeed and well worth the train ride through it. Also, it's a lot cheaper than western europe!

Ready to leave koln / cologne

Uneventful day spent wandering the city. Found a list of five must do free things, hit all five.

Unfortunately, middle bunk tonight. Will have to inquire about a free bed elsewhere with train manager when I board.

They have this super neat luggage storage system. The boxes come up from an underground locker system. You can see the Koln Dom in the distance, third tallest or largest cathedral in the world.

Fell asleep

I fell asleep a few minutes outside of Munich and am waking up on the outskirts of Amsterdam. I'll spend the day here before continuing my exploring.
